let us meet again as strangers

not knowing what we are

and share a glass of wine under moon

talking about the stars.

then meet again one day

calling it a co incidence

and exchange phone numbers

in case of mere remembrance.

as i reach home i text u

'hi dear this is ...me'

my inbox shows 'hi i am me too'

and i write back 'how funny :D'

texting turns into calling

and calling runs out all night

and then on silly matters

every now and then we fight.

meeting again we start to share

our hobbies, likes and past

and soon the thought comes across

that together we can last.

i start loving u all over again

and u start hiding the same

we both feel something special

but no one speaks that name.

and one day after gathering guts

i kneel down nd propose

u start laughing out loud

i am joking u suppose.

yet again i try with a straight face

my eyes filled up with hope

yo ask me 'will u ever leave me'

i hug u tight and say 'nope'

we start sketching walls of future

with the shades of love we have

and kissing with the joy of it

to live it soon is all we crave.

there come a few rough patch

but we fix them out quite well

and promise to stay side by side

yet with passion we quarrel.

then if some day one of us feels

the magic of love is gone

we know what we are to do then

we hug smiling don't mourn.

we stop seeing each other

for some time, so we remain

and meet one day just by chance

to fall in love all over again.
